Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of web development services provided by Saurav Lal, an Independent Web Developer and Freelancer ("I," "me," or "my"). By engaging my services, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

I provide the following freelance web development services:

• Custom Web Application Development
• E-commerce & Payment Integration
• Dashboard & Admin Panel Development
• API Development & Integration
• SaaS Product Development
• Website Design and Development

Specific deliverables, timelines, and project scope will be outlined in a separate project agreement or proposal for each engagement.

3. Service Agreement

Services will commence upon mutual agreement of project scope, timeline, and payment terms. All projects require a written confirmation via email or signed proposal before work begins.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is accepted via bank transfer, UPI, or other mutually agreed methods. Payment terms vary by project and may include:

• Upfront deposit (typically 30-50% of project value)
• Milestone-based payments
• Full payment before project commencement for smaller projects

Payment terms will be specified in the project proposal. Late payments may incur additional charges and may pause project work until payment is received.

5. Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel projects at any time, subject to the following cancellation fees:

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are available only as outlined in the Cancellation Policy above. Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email. Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days, subject to public holidays.

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method. Please note that payment processing fees are non-refundable.

7. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• Provide timely feedback and required materials (content, images, credentials, etc.)
• Communicate requirements clearly and in writing where possible
• Make timely payments as per agreed schedule
• Hold necessary rights to all materials provided for the project

Delays caused by late client feedback or materials may extend project timelines without liability on my part.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Client Content

All content, materials, and intellectual property provided by the Client remain the Client's property.

8.2 Deliverables

Upon full payment, the Client receives ownership of the final deliverables created specifically for their project. This excludes:

• Pre-existing code, libraries, or frameworks
• Third-party components and open-source software
• Custom tools and templates I've developed for reuse

8.3 Portfolio Rights

I retain the right to showcase completed work in my portfolio, case studies, and promotional materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Warranties and Limitations

9.1 Service Warranty

I warrant that services will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Bug fixes and minor adjustments are provided for a reasonable period post-launch (typically 30 days unless otherwise specified).

9.2 Disclaimer

Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. I do not guarantee specific business results, search engine rankings, conversion rates, or revenue from delivered projects.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

My total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific project in question. I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Confidentiality

I agree to keep confidential all proprietary information shared by the Client during the course of the project. This obligation continues after project completion.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or services provided, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with Indian law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhagalpur, Bihar, India.

13. Modifications to Terms

I reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

Project-specific agreements already in place will not be affected by changes to these general Terms.
